PC-Kermit: download pckexe.bas and pckermit.fix to the IBM-PC, using
whatever download facilities you have available. If you cannot download
these files by some devious means (eg Cromix -> computer 'X' -> IBM-PC)
see later.
Having downloaded the two files, rename pckermit.fix as kermit.fix and then
run the basic programme. This uses kermit.fix as a datafile and recreates
a file called kermit.exe which is the working PCKermit.
If you cannot download the two files, list out pckget.bas and then
enter it by hand onto the PC. Mount the Fortran file pcksend.for on
Cromix, CDOS or some other machine. Compile the Fortran. Connect the two
machines and run pcget on the PC and PCSEND on the other. With a bit of
luck you should eventually get satisfactory copies of pckexe.bas and
pckermit.fix on the PC, and then carry on as above.

NOTE: pckexe.bas takes a long time to run.
