is the root of all the Cromemco code stored in the following particular way



disks   
This is a directory which stores .IMD dunfield images .xxx Catweasel images, .tar UNIX tar format archives
and .ta Cromemco ftar -cv archives of individual diskettes in my Cromemco Collection

Of particular importance is the catalog file namely http://maben.homeip.net/static/S100/cromemco/code/disks/catalog.txt
which is an index to each diskette


From this raw data I am trying to distil and refine the contents of the following directories
namely:


applications			Cromemco Word Processing, Spreadsheets etc.
communications     		networking software drivers                        
database			Cromemco Database Products
diagnostics			Cromemco Diagnostics
diskutil			utilities to help unpack, pack, transfer these files
drivers				Cromemco Z80 and 68000 ssembler driver packages
graphics			Cromemco Graphics software
hardware			code for specific Cromemco Hardware
languages			Cromemco programming Languages
operating systems		Cromemco Operating Systems


In general image files will be stored in the directory disk only.  It does of course make sense to store images of all
Operating Systems and that will go initially in the disks directory.  In the "operating systems" directory the unpacked
OS might exceed the size of any diskette anyway.
